A 20th Century rare vintage Italian floor lamp from the 1960s, designed by Tobia Scarpa for FLOS. Constructed with a steel internal framework and a layered resin skin, the design forms the softly sculptural “Fantasma” or ghost-like silhouette. This example retains its original FLOS label.

20th Century Art Deco console & mirror, made from ebonised mahogany with a panel of sycamore and mahogany stripes between carved cabriole legs, rose pink Italian marble and finished with brass trim at floor level for added protection, this suggests a use in a retail space. During its illustrious service, it connected 130 cities across Europe, from Denmark to Italy and Spain to Austria, offering first-class luxury. This scale model showcases intricate details of the train’s interior, as well as its inner workings.

An early 20th Century English amusement arcade game featuring articulated cranes which, when skilfully manoeuvred, grasp a prize and release it into the chute below. Constructed in English oak with red-painted metal detailing, each crane is individually powered, with access provided through a discreet service door.

Garand M1 model rifle of enormous proportions, these rifles were made as “training guns“ as demonstrators for troops. Rather than showing individuals how the rifle worked they were able to demonstrate the mechanism (assembling, disassembling, cleaning, firing, etc) of the rifle to entire halls of troops, hence the cutaway sections which show the recoil system, the bolt and the cartridge chamber.
