A large bronze framed mirror with a cast monogramed crest entwining the initials R C I of the Royal Insurance Company above the motto “Tutum Te Sistam” meaning “I will keep you safe”. This beautiful Victorian mirror would have been commissioned probably for the Liverpool Office the original office of the Company. Created in the 1850’s the Royal Insurance Company was incredibly successful the largest in the world by the end of the Victorian era, with offices worldwide including New York and San Francisco
