DESCRIPTION
A very rare musical folding screen by Fornasetti Studios made in Italy towards the latter end of the 20th century. Special edition of the famous strumenti musicali four fold screen by Fornesetti, first produced in the 1954, the screen with serial number and date in the bottom corner. Four wooden folding panels laminated with the Fornesetti design on original castors.
This screen is handcrafted using the original artisan techniques. It's silk-screened by hand, hand painted and covered with a smooth lacquer. There is a very limited production of these screens, dated (1990) and numbered (2 of 6,) . This functional yet sculptural item is sure to bring to life any interior thanks to the signature quirkiness so distinctive of Fornasetti furniture.
CONDITION
In Good Condition - wear consistent with age.
