Antique 19th Century pair of Victorian stained glass windows preserved in deep wooden framed light boxes, fully working. One panel shows a soldier from the London Scottish Regiment in full uniform with a kilt of Hodden grey tartan, the traditional regiment tartan that goes back to the formation of the London Scottish Riffles in 1859. The second figure is of a piper from the London Scottish Regimental Pipes and Drums, one of the oldest army pipe bands in the world. The Pipe Major of the London Scottish held the position of Piper to the Queen Mother from 1953 until her death in 2002.
