19th Century Japanese Meiji period very fine bronze figure of a tiger. The striding figure with its head raised and mouth open to reveal long fangs, the stripes of the naturalistically rendered body rendered in a contrasting texture, the cartouche on the underside signed Morimitsu, Genryusai Seiya.
