A superb 20th-century English solid silver capstan shaped desk clock and inkwell, crafted by Walker & Hall. This inkwell was awarded as a trophy to "Tally Ho," the winner of the 1935 Rutherford and adjacent hunts steeplechase, presented by The Duke of Portland. The clock features a Swiss-made movement with an additional smaller dial for the second hand and an 8-day power reserve. This exquisite piece serves as a functional desk accessory or a decorative item. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), Sheffield, year 1933 (q), Maker W&H (Walker & Hall).
